The same day that the appeal by Danny Masterson's accusers was heard in Los Angeles regarding Scientology's 'religious arbitration,' the federal Eleventh Circuit handed down its long-awaited ruling in the appeal by Luis and Rocio Garcia regarding the same subject. And for the Garcias, it's bad news: the federal appeals court has sided with Scientology.

The decision just hit the wire and we're going to post it right away. Please read it along with us and help us see what the court's reasoning is.

The timing is startling. The same day religious arbitration's elements — like the International Justice Chief's role — was being questioned by the California appellate justices, in Atlanta the federal circuit has decided that what the Garcias went through in Scientology's jackleg arbitration was not "unconscionable." Wow.
