Onward and upward we go in our Pacific Northwest adventure. After our event yesterday in Portland, tonight we'll be in Seattle. Please come on out to Razzi's Pizzeria, 8523 Greenwood Ave, North Seattle, at 7 pm and let's talk about Scientology.

What a great event the Humanists of Greater Portland put on for us at Friendly House. It didn't hurt that the weather was perfect and Portland looked gorgeous. We were thrilled to meet, finally, Jefferson Hawkins, the former Scientology executive who penned the excellent memoir, Counterfeit Dreams.

We spoke to a full room, and the organizers told us there were an additional dozen or so folks in an overflow room. And during the book-signing, we met more Bunkerites and other folks with fascinating Scientology stories to tell. One of them was even L. Ron Hubbard's steward on the yacht Apollo! Wow.
