One of our tipsters forwarded this message to us that showed up on Facebook. It appears to claim that Scientology's Sea Organization now requires new members to be at least 16 years old and to have a high school diploma.

We've talked to former Scientologists who signed their billion-year Sea Org contracts as young as six years old. Many people have told us the really heavy recruiting for the Sea Org began when they were 13 or 14. So this appears, if it's true, to be another sign that Scientology leader David Miscavige is making some changes.

We reported earlier that he had ended the notorious prison program the Rehabilitation Project Force, and that extreme pressure to donate at events might also have been toned down.
