Scientology front group CCHR recently published an article opposing a new drug to treat tardive dyskinesia (TD). They're a little late to the party, as Ingrezza was approved by the FDA in 2017 to treat adults for the side effects of some antipsychotic medications. Patients on these medicines may develop TD, involuntary jerking motions of the face.

Using one medicine to control the side-effects of another is a risk and one of the factors doctors consider when prescribing. If unchecked there could be wave after wave of medicines ordered to fix side effects rather than the original condition. Helping patients understand the risks and treatments, there's someplace they can go online...

But Scientology ignores the issues about side-effect management and goes on the attack…
