Scientology tries to rah-rah its way through the pandemic while endangering its members - 2020-03-22
Scientology continues to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak this week. The Black Scientologists Convention has been rescheduled and it's safe to assume all events on the Freewinds have been suspended.
Scientology took a huge PR blow when a case of the measles caused the ship to be quarantined in Curaçao in 2019 and they have to avoid a repeat of that scandal. The ship is currently in Aruba with no scheduled departure date.
Leader David Miscavige issued IGN Bulletin No. 88 this week. IGN is Scientology's Inspector General Network. All orgs and missions have been given this directive. We don't have the bulletin, but it's clear that it quotes from L. Ron Hubbard's 1957 lecture, "Scientology and Radiation." (Tony quoted from it yesterday.) Scientology is sanitizing their facilities multiple times per day. Denver is advertising their sanitation practices to encourage people to visit the org. Valley is encouraging people to bring their children to the org since their schools are closed.
