Xenu-giving: We check the crowd at Scientology's biggest org on a day of thanks - 2019-10-15
It was a nice Saturday afternoon so Willie and I decided to take a little drive in the country. We thought we'd swing by the Cambridge Org and see how things were going for their Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner/Event.
The Thanksgiving dinner started at 6pm. We stayed until well after that to make sure we allowed for any stragglers. There were a few so we counted those as well. Altogether there were 27 cars in the parking lot. Most of them that we saw arrive had only one person in them, but there were some with two people. I'd estimate maybe 50 people, including staff. No more than 55-60 if I was being generous.
Even if most local Scientologists also had a dinner planned for Sunday or Monday they could have made it out to support their 'church' on a Saturday evening.
