The United States Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom is a specialized State Department position under the US Commission on International Religious Freedom appointed by POTUS. The current office holder, Rabbi Sapperstein, was repeatedly advocated for by CSI lobbyist Greg Mitchell from 2010 until 2014.
