It is important in studying any subject that we are not distracted by the deliberately sensationalized accounts of "news." People who write these "controversial" stories are afraid that others will read and evaluate for themselves the actual material. For these people, nothing would be worse than having increasing numbers of people, free of the distraction of the noise and "controversy," evaluate openly and fairly.
