Apropos of the season, a little grown up talk about lessons of Jesus, compassion and sacrifice.

Most of what the world might still consider admirable about the character of Americans was born during the Great Depression: economy, brotherhood, compassion for one's fellows, sacrifice, alertness and willingness to fight back on principle and not for personal gain.

One major reason why Corporate Scientology is dead is because it condemns those values.
