During the Christmas season, the church sponsors activities that provide food, clothing and toys to those less fortunate. These are the programs that Lisa was directly involved with when she was alive.

For the past nine years, the church has hosted 4,500 foster children and their parents at the church's Fort Harrison retreat. Sponsored by the church's Community Auxiliary, the foster children's party allows foster children to visit with brothers and sisters who live in other foster homes. For many, it is the only time of the year they are able to see their siblings.
