Court rules Narconon can stay open June 17, 1992,
An unlicensed drug and alcohol treatment center can continue treating patients under an order by the state Supreme Court.
The court on Monday temporarily set aside a permanent injunction to close the Narconon Chilocco New Life Center near Newkirk in north-central Oklahoma.
The high court also granted Narconon Chilocco's request to seal some of the contents contained in its appeal application, according to the order signed by Chief Justice Marian Opala.
The stay will remain in effect until the Supreme Court makes a decision on an appeal contesting the permanent injunction issued last month by a Kay County judge.
