Judicial group to hammer Christie July 15, 2014,
A conservative judicial group is planning to run $75,000 in digital ads during New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's trip to Iowa later this week, bracketing him at a time when he's re-emerging from the Bridgegate scandal.
The Judicial Crisis Network, run by Carrie Severino, a former law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, will run the ads over three days, hoping to drive millions of eyeballs to a website devoted to the New Jersey governor's records on judicial appointments.
The two videos — one is 15 seconds long, the other 90 seconds long — are blistering about Christie on the topic of judges.
