Members of the Northeastern Law Enforcement Administrators Council (NLEAC) received a full day of training in Hermantown recently on a drug prevention program called The Truth About Drugs. Alarmed by the number of calls related to the illegal use of both street and prescription drugs, Babbitt Chief of Police Chad Lowen, who is the current President of NLEAC, arranged for all member jurisdictions to receive training on drug prevention.
