Pierre Marcel Poilievre ([1] born June 3, 1979) is a Canadian politician who has served as a member of Parliament (MP) since 2004. A member of the Conservative Party, he currently represents the Ottawa-area riding of Carleton. Poilievre previously served as minister for democratic reform from 2013 to 2015 and minister of employment and social development in 2015.
